You're welcome, Lydia. My background in chemical engineering certainly influences my writing. I see that your background as a physician influences yours. I loved your clinical depiction of a writer's thick skin in your post of May 26, 2010. Very clever and cute!
Hema - I can certainly relate :). The part of the clip that resonates most with me is about how you "can't do anything to rescue yourself or anyone else...." In a world that erupts in frequent bouts of savagery, I empathize with that sentiment. Like Vonnegut, I often regress into satirical writing.
Lua - you're welcome! And thanks to you for your blog post of May 31st where you share your keen observations regarding writers' perverse inclination to voyeurism. I loved it!
It's an impulse that you just can't say no to. At least it is for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!

ReplyDeleteI adore Vonnegut!
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for visiting my blog. :D
You're welcome, Amanda. As I mentioned in my post to your blog: great pics, beautiful kids!
ReplyDeleteGood clip! And I'd rather write than put a fist through the door or kick at a baseboard and risk a fractured hand or a foot! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Thanks for sharing…
