I'll be speaking at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton on Sunday, June 26, 2011. My topic's "The Basic Beliefs and Practices of Islam and the Notion of the Good Guys vs. the Bad Guys." Wish me luck!

  3. Thank you, Kate. I have 3 talks scheduled this summer, so I welcome your wishes for good luck.

About that mechanic who tried to take advantage of you: I'm so glad he wasn't successful!

  4. Thanks for the comment about the mechanic - he very nearly was successful (and I'm sure he was in the past - he's received a lot of my money and now I wonder how much was really necessary.) So I'm also glad he won't be getting any more! :)

Good luck on all three talks - and congratulations, too! I hope they are great experiences for you.

  5. My talk this morning at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Easton went great. What a fantastic, open-minded, inquisitive and well-read group of people; it was a privilege to exchange ideas with them and to learn from the experience.

  6. Very cool. I attend a UU church out here in California and love the variety of sermons and speakers we are exposed to each week. It's always inspiring to see what's next on the docket to ruminate upon.
